We want to thank Dr. Kirchhoffer and the entire Northwest R-1 School Board for giving our students the opportunity to return to school, to return to a sense of normalcy, and for making masks optional. 

We sincerely thank you and have the upmost respect for you, as you work hard to use our own personal experiences, in our District, to drive your decisions related to Covid Guidelines/Restrictions. 

Thank you for respecting parents fundamental right to choose for their own children. We appreciate that we all have options, whether that's virtual school, in-person schooling, masks or no masks, vaccines, etc. As families, we each bring to our schools different kids, with different needs. By having a choice, you are respecting that this is not a one size fits all approach and it allows for us each to care for and make decisions for our children, as the unique individuals that they are. Thank you for understanding that further mandates will do our children more harm than good, especially over a virus that they are almost 100% likely to survive from (if contracted). Thank you for respecting that there are greater risks to our kids by enforcing these excessive mandates.
