Turn on the A/C at Northwest

Residents of Northwest Missouri State's Residence Halls pay thousands of dollars to live on campus in hopes of having what is needed provided to them. Now that the climate is starting to warm up, so are our residence halls, and more specifically our rooms. Residents are not able to control the A/C in their own rooms. It is solely up to the university's facility managers to turn on the A/C. Air conditioning is the very first thing listed under "Building Features" for each building on the Northwest website, so it only makes sense to have the A/C provided to us. Conditions are becoming so uncomfortable for many residents to the point of physical exhaustion, and trouble sleeping at night. Some have reported temperatures reaching 80 degrees in their rooms. Having the A/C back on would allow residents to have a more comfortable environment to study, hang out, and relax. Your signature with your name and message can help us get the attention of the facility managers and could possibly help us become comfortable again in our own home.
