Northvale Town Council: Support a Northvale Municipal Public Library with the Bergen County Cooperative Library System FULL-TIME

This petition made change with 315 supporters!

This petition was started because Northvale residents deserve a full time, full access, and free municipal library.  A municipal library that is connected to the Bergen County Cooperative Library System for full media access.

A Northvale Public School teacher stated on Back to School Night September 2013, " Your children are hungry for books, I have never seen any thing like it, I can't keep enough books on the shelf".  Residents miss running into each other at the library and meeting up while they take out movies, surf the web, research, and browse the book shelves!

We need certified librarians in a library.  Educated, professional librarians who will put the time in to support the learning and interests of our residents.  The BCCLS allows for Northvale residents to take books out from all Bergen County libraries and it brings neighboring residents in to our library and town as well. Northvale residents deserve better. Northvale students need the educational support of a full access year-round library in the community.

Please sign this petition and send it on to other Northvale residents. Let's support the  Town Council in starting a FULL-TIME, full access Municipal library!

Please sign and support by talking up a Municipal Library and pass this on to other residents of our community.
