Elaine Burt started this petition to Northumberland County Council

This petition is to raise enough support to allow the planning permission to pass at Primary Steps Childcare at 41A Southward, Seaton Sluice. The setting has been going at this address for 13.5 years as a childminders setting and has been running as Childcare on a Domestic setting since September 2019. An objection has been raised with regards to parking issues and noise in the area as well as congestion due to the number of people picking up and dropping off at certain times.
My argument is that congestion is reduced, especially at school run times as we walk the children to school from the setting, reducing the number of vehicles around the school at school run times. Also that parents are only outside of the setting for a matter of minutes when they are dropping off and collecting from the setting and that no congestion is caused and there is normally no more than 2 cars at the site when picking up or dropping off. There are also a lot of parents who live in close proximity to the setting and walk to collect at pick up and drop off times. I am not a big setting and provide care for a lot of families of vital key workers and have worked throughout all lockdowns to provide much needed care to all who need it.
If you are happy to sign and agree with the above statements, please do so, it will be much appreciated and go a long way to hopefully getting my planning passed.
Thank you all in advance.
