I’m signing because I believe Whitmore can be a nice community and thing could help it. I don’t live in Whitmore at the moment but grew up there. I hope I will one day get to live in the community again.

We are losing public land at an alarming rate in this country!
Why should a handful benefit, at the expense of a whole town!!?

The park has an amazing mile-long nature walking path. The walking path is where the destruction will happen if this land is "Developed." We will also no longer have space to park and hold "Trunk sales" or Halloween Trunk or Treat, or even parking/watching the fireworks. The downsize in the park just will not have the space for these activities.

The board should do what the people want, not the people do what the board wants!

It is important to provide a space the promotes and fosters community within Whitmore Lake that IS NOT tied to home ownership. Please take a long view of the sale of the park land.

This a terrible idea, lakefront property is in very high demand, and the public value far exceeds the asking price. This is a terrible deal for the community for the low price of $750K. It should not be sold, and even it it was to be sold, it should be priced based on it's value 20 or 30 or even 50 years from now. Who cooked up this developer giveaway? Shades of Ann Arbor... sad to see.

I was born and raised in Whitmore Lake. The days I spent playing at the old beach on E Shore Dr are some of the best memories I have. It's time to give that back to our community.......

60% want the park. Would rather have the park then a congested town.
