Call for referendum in Northern Ireland on Same-Sex Marriage Equality
This petition had 6,231 supporters
Northern Ireland remains the only place within the British Isles that denies Equal Rights to those within the LGBT community.
The NI assembly has voted 4 times against same sex marriage. The DUP, have used a “petition of concern” to ensure that legislation would not pass even if the bill for marriage equality won a majority. It's time to let the people of Northern Ireland decide.
We call for a referendum on same sex marriage. Let the people of Northern Ireland decide.
