Kindergarten is a huge milestone for our children! After some research with the school, I have been informed of the 21-22 kindergarten class sizes for Northern Cass. There are currently 60 kids registered for kindergarten this fall, which puts our class sizes at 20/class. I feel this is too big for our children to have adequate attention and support during this huge life change!

I am addressing the Northern Cass School Board at their July meeting on Tuesday, July 13th @4:00 pm (please feel free to join me if you are able). I would like to ask them to strongly consider adding an additional teacher/classroom, or at least dedicate one full time paraprofessional in each of the existing classrooms.

I am looking for support from incoming kindergarten parents to back up my statements I plan to make to the board concerning class sizing.  I plan to present this petition with parents "signatures" to board. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
