Multiple times now, Northbeach students (6th through 12th grade) have been sexually assaulted, or sexually harassed on school grounds. 11-13 year olds will wear a full coverage top and get dress coded for having too big of a breast size, or that someone stated they felt “uncomfortable”. We are being shamed, and used for our bodies at Northbeach and once we report the issue we are told to “sign ‘contracts’ stating that if we SPEAK about what we’ve went through, we’ll get suspended or even expelled.” We are done being forced into silence. We will continue to protest justice and equality until it is obtained.
