The institution has decided that students who have already attempted the first opportunity, will only be granted a maximum pass mark (i.e. final mark) for the module of 50% for the second opportunity. We find this to be unfair as it rules out any possibilities of studying further (i.e postgraduate opportunities).

We were only alerted to this after the President's lockdown announcement ( which took place on the 27th of June 2020). This leaves students in a disadvantaged position, we demand that the school scraps this "option" and allows students to be given a final mark that is calculated like that of the first opportunity exams.
