I've used YYoga when visiting the ara and its an amzing studio - and this just sseems like a stupid, self-defeating idea for the community

Dear DNV,

I have been thinking about writing this for a long time. Like all, pandemic wraps the time a bit here and there, and everything is in flux. Thinking things through carefully through the hearts.

Just curious these days on the value of the work of weaving the fabric and wellness of people in a community.....the benefits that come from how we people farm on this soil and land for the good lords via creating and sustaining the operations day and night, and so in weaving the fabric of the society day after day, the yield is something which you can see, feel, and therefore “sell” better on your marketing brochures and in so keeping and improving the value of the land, a farewell so cold.

Sure, every case is different, but your reactions and reasoning are a telltale sign of a certain attitude. Always in favour of tax-payers is the safest bet for modern-day politicians with any PR senses. I wonder if there are the likes of EY reports typically expensed by governance in Canada on an array of things from why the Governor is not fit to live in the Hall and so forth. Expect EY to work on why French is not spoken there (I support French Immersion, just not the bad career politicians or populist one). Oh, so sorry, I digressed. Since you mentioned and uses the phase tax-payer, it triggers a very automatic fiduciary response.

I sure would love to see a website that tracks the effectiveness and process of our tax dollars, all Three levels combined, regardless of Parties. No news and media are required. Get the best expert to carefully examine the common services the government provides so no need for more Cullen investigations, Fast Ferries overruns, Convention Centre overruns, and that dame Dam C going to be an overrun. Podium talks after podium talks.

Perhaps the time is ripe for asking new questions from citizens, how we envision the society in taking care of folks who helped farmed the land (day after day, year after year) and during an event as macro as the SarS-CoV-2/COVID-19 pandemic (not over yet)—people’s focus is unto the behaviours of giants like the landlords and bureaucrats.

They will begin to ask who is best at generating positivity and activities from their spaces, rather than conflicts, errors, omissions, undue hardship in a pandemic, and a general ill-will that will mark a deep scar proportionate to the once in a century pandemic.

When material changes that are as macro as a pandemic hit, folks are sure going to examine carefully, especially post-pandemic (like a post mortem would, and time will not dilute this one, take 1918, and other pending pandemics is not entirely impossible, and if this is how it happens every time, then there needs to be a better plan as a community going forward.

In a way, ourselves, our children, and our grandchildren are all watching how we all take the next set of steps. It's very much a confidence vote.

If we don't stand up today against our dark past, there will be no change for a better tomorrow.

In a time when health is most challenged the critical aspects of well-being - mental, spiritual, social and physical - Must be tended to and this is available in one accessible place, the yoga community that YYC offers. I urge all of those with any capacity to take action in this matter to ensure that this space is not lost all of those in most need it right now on the North Shore.

I am signing this petition because I have been a YYOGA member since 2010 and this is the only studio I could attend on a regular basis, now that West Vancouver is closed.

In my business I act for landlords throughout the lower mainland. Yyoga appears a viable business on the N Shore, and any landlord worth their salt is working with their tenants to effect success. Hello DNV?

North Vancouver needs this amazing place for our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing! YYoga not just another yoga studio. They have worked so hard to get it right and have created community here. Please please don't make them close!

When people exercise, they are in better health and are less likely to be sick (with Covid amongst various diseases). Yoga also provides huge benefits for mental health, which is crucial in these rather difficult times. Please be flexible and accept YYoga's proposal so that the studio can remain opened on the North shore, for the benefit of the community.
