The recent “car parades” by North Shore teachers has been a welcome and fun experience for children in the community.  It is a great idea that has brought both positive energy and a much needed lift to both children and parents during these trying times.  A very small and vocal group of community members object to the “car parades” which is their right but is not the will of the overwhelming majority of residents in our community.  We want to get as many signatures as possible on this petition in the hope that the schools will feel empowered to continue with these parades knowing they have almost the universal support of the community.  Further, we hope these parades can be better organized so more people in the community know about them in advance and thus more neighbors can share in the joy the EXCELLENT North Shore School district teachers/staff are spreading.
