Save the Yarra Junior Football League

Australia's largest junior football competition is fighting a forced move to new headquarters far from the league's heartland, with its home base right in the path of the $15.8 billion North East Link.

The Yarra Junior Football League, which covers a large part of Melbourne's east with 11,000 players across 33 clubs, has been told it must decide on a proposal to move from Bulleen Park to a new home base at Ford Park, Bellfield.

The demand to relocate will jeopardise the future of Australia's largest junior football league. The YJFL needs two ovals to accommodate for their rapidly expanding girls competition, and the geographical relocation will mean many existing clubs will no longer be able to operate.

The YJFL community is calling on Premier Daniel Andrews to rethink the home base during the North East Link Construction and name nearby 'Seed Farm' in Templestowe as the home base.

This forced move threatens the future existence of our league and we need your help!
