Stop The Bill Against Squatted Trucks!

Stop The Bill Against Squatted Trucks!
Why this petition matters
As many people reading this probably already know, recently a bill has been passed in North Carolina stating that suspension cannot be more than 3" above factory height in the front and 2" below factory height in the rear, meaning no more squatted trucks. This is a very controversial modification, especially between older and younger generations, without a doubt, and I completely understand the debate.
So, whats the reasoning of the "Carolina Squat" from the perspective of a teenager who is around it everyday? The most common thing we always see is that we do it for attention and while in some cases that may be true, it is really so much more than that. If you remember the days of the muscle cars, its kind of similar. Before you click off of this after hearing that, just hear me out. The folks that designed and built those muscle cars did not do it for attention. They did it because they enjoy cars, enjoy the people within the car/truck community, and it brings them fullfillment and happiness, that they may not get from other things. So what really is the difference between us and them, besides, generation, opinion, and the type of vehicle.
