NC Attorney General to pursue criminal charges against Trump for encouraging voter fraud.
Why this petition matters
Josh Stein, North Carolina’s Attorney General, needs to pursue legal action against Trump for his blatant encouragement of voter fraud in Wilmington, NC on September 2, 2020. Trump said “Send them in strong, whether it's solicited or unsolicited. The absentees are fine. You have to work to get them, you know. And you send them in, but you go to vote. And if they haven't counted it, you can vote. So that's the way I feel.” This is actively stating that he wants voters in North Carolina to vote once in-person and once by mail, which is illegal under NC law and a Class I Felony. Per N.C. Gen. Stat. §163-275 (7) Inducing another to commit fraud is a Class I felony
"For any person with intent to commit a fraud to register or vote ... more than one time, or to induce another to do so, in the same primary or election.” Stein needs to investigate this and take legal action, as this is a state felony that was witnessed live nationally.
