Universal Repercussion for UNC System Professors Violent Language

Universal Repercussion for UNC System Professors Violent Language
Why this petition matters
For years, the University of North Carolina System has failed to address professors who encourage violent, call-to-action speech against students. Violent language is not a representation of the UNC System values and should not be tolerated. A universal repercussion is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of all UNC System students. The proposed repercussion calls for any professor who uses violent language, inside or outside of the classroom, towards specific groups of race, gender, political affiliation, religion, and/or sexuality to be removed from the UNC System.
The UNC System is a community of family and acceptance. Therefore, I believe any professor who uses violent, call-to-action language should not be tolerated by the administration, faculty, or student body.
I hereby petition the University of North Carolina System to implement a universal repercussion regarding professors who use violent, call-to-action speech.
