For too long, us Black Americans have had our right to vote suppressed since the founding of the United States up until now in the year 2020 and onward.

Slavery, Jim Crow, police brutality, among other systematic injustices against African-Americans has gone on long enough. The 2020 Election results in Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, and throughout the United States prove once again how important and necessary black voter turnout is.

The fact that black voter suppression and intimidation still exists is disgraceful. All Americans have it in their power to effectuate long lasting change regardless of race, yet us blacks still face obstacles in exercising our right to vote and have politicians represent our interests.

Black voter suppression and intimidation needs to be destroyed once and for all, so that blacks get the fair representation we are long over due. We need to revive and sustain black voter turnout and make it easier for blacks to exercise their right to vote so every voice is heard.

Just like our ancestors who fought for Civil Rights and fought in the Civil War, we need to continue the fight for the rights of all African-Americans! Until African-Americans are fairly represented in the US and state governments, nothing will change, and blacks will continue to be devastated by racism, poverty, and COVID-19.

We need to relentlessly pressure the US government and state governments until we are fairly represented! If we come together, we can continue to bring change!
