Petitioning North Carolina Highway Patrol

JUSTICE FOR JAMES RUSSELL MOORE!! WE WANT ANSWERS!

The North Carolina Highway Patrol killed a 64 year old man who was non violent and had a deep respect for the law.  They have given no information to the family other than the news report that was given to the media after we were informed that they hade no details.  When a shooting as this is under investigation they are not supposed to release information.  It seems to us that they did so so that he could face public scrutiny before the truth and details could be discovered.  Our beloved family member will never fully gain his reputation back because now he is being judged by complete strangers so we ask you for your help to bring the truth to the light.

Letter to

I just signed the following petition addressed to: North Carolina Highway Patrol.

JUSTICE FOR JAMES RUSSELL MOORE!! WE WANT ANSWERS!

James Russell Moore was shot and killed by tooper Matt W. Pitman on Friday June 29th between 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm. The family was told he had a gun and there wasn't much they knew and it was under investigation. About 2 hours later it was on hundreds of news outlets. The family still has not received the answers it so desperately needs. James was a well known and loved man and it was not in his nature to do what he is accused of. The NC highway patrol has potrayed him as a violent drunk who was out to kill an officer and we say nothing could be further from the truth. Please help us by signing this petition and going to facebook and check out the Justice for James Russell Moore group we have over 1,200 people who beleive he is innocent. Help us get the answers we need to clear the name of a manwho worked his whole life to earn the love and respect that is pouring from thousands of people. We are not out to crucify this officer or the highway patrol we want answers and addmission to the mistakes that were made that night. We are afamily that respects the law and we understand that the job is often under valued and under appreciated. We thank you in advance for your participation.
