In the wake of the recent egregious decision by the Supreme Court which reversed 50 years of precedent that guaranteed a woman a constitutional to right to an abortion, it is now imperative that states pass laws to protect this right. One such bill, the Reproductive Freedom Act, or House Bill 1119 was introduced and must be passed by the North Carolina General Assembly before  November. Abortion is healthcare and this right must be protected for the majority of us who support a woman’s right to choose. We cannot let North Carolina go backwards.
