North Bay Village dog owners would greatly benefit from the opening of the Treasure Drive dog park as currently we have limited places to take our dogs out. Treasure Drive community has a lot of dog owners and having a place where our fur friends could get their energy out will not only benefit us but also ensure that others are happy as dogs will have the designated space. Despite the recent opening of the NBV Harbor Island dog park, the Treasure drive community is located too far to go there every day. We are encountering daily negatively from people around the community who don’t like dogs being taken to the grass area outside their buildings. There is an abandoned tennis court, just outside Grand View Palace Condos, next to the Treasure Island Elementary school basketball court that is never used, that is how much space we would really need to exercise our dogs and keep the community happy! We would like to request to convert the tennis court to a dog park since it is never used by anyone. 
Our furiends need a good run to stay happy and healthy and we would truly appreciate your help with this!

It is our responsibility and priority to keep people around us happy and currently us, the dog owners, feel pressured by the community and are indeed often asked to keep away from the only places our dogs could have a great playtime!
