THE FIGHT FOR OUR EDUCATION

Baltimore city school students understand the necessity of certain positions, such as a librarian and math teachers. We are making a call to action. We want to be included when decisions directly impacting our education are being made.

This is not about a particular employee, this is about how our school, the english department and history department, will not function without using this source to it's fullest capacity.

The useful resource that we know as the library will no longer be of service to us because there will no longer be constant and consistent supervision over this space. Our extensive collection of plays and research encyclopedias further our education and allow us the tools to make connections and think critically, especially in this time where we don't know if we can even trust the information from our government.

Our students depend on someone helping us sift through research and make valuable connections. We also have study hall and seminars in this space. It is a vital part of school community and we will not fulfill our mission as the Baltimore School for the Arts and I am sure this goes for all schools losing vital and essential positions.

Stand with us. Fight for your own educational growth and stability. Use your resources. Ask your questions and we will get them answered.

We will see you Monday at 1PM
