Pediatric Cancer has impacted me so  much that I want to make a change. A very close family friend has been battling cancer for almost three and a half years now and I’m doing this for her. Did you know 43 children per day  or 15,780 children per year are expected to be diagnosed with cancer? The NCI (National Cancer Institute) gives adult cancer funding a whole lot more money than pediatric cancer. However... how does that work? Children are the backbone of our future.  Only 4% of government funding is given to pediatric cancer research. These kids deserve way more than 4.
