On 5/20/20 Norm Sedig, CHS Tennis Coach, received his annual evaluation for the 2019 Fall season from his supervisor, Tony Hult, CHS Activities Director.  It was an outstanding evaluation and Mr. Hult recommended Coach Sedig to coach CHS Tennis for the 2020-2021 school year for his 36th year. On 7/15/20, Coach Sedig  received from the Superintendent that he is done as Head Tennis Coach.  The reason given was "too many incidences of lack of supervision."  He immediately demanded of her and the School Board of what, when, where? Nothing. The only one, he recalled happened last Fall on the bus from Rawlins to Casper. My home school chaperone came to me one hour after the fact, that the kids were using inappropriate language & improper computer use.  I asked him who?  I need names. No reply. I told him that he should have reprimanded them on the spot and/or called me from the front of the bus.  I let the kids know and if it was happening, it had to stop.  We had no incidences the rest of the year. We have 3 sets of parents who each have had 3 children in tennis 12 of the last 15 years. On approximately 60 dates, all have stayed in the same motels during post-season. Some on the same floor as the team. If the Board asked them, all would tell them that there were no incidences ever of my lack of supervision. There are no bus drivers who have ever reported me in "lack of supervision on any bus trip the last 35 years.
