Max Card Scheme to be provided to eligible residents of Norfolk

Lots of Local Authorities across the country provide eligible residents with a Max Card which can be used for discounted/free entry to local services and attractions. Unfortunately, despite some Norfolk attractions accepting the Max Card, Norfolk County Council do not provide it.
You can find more information about the Max Card Scheme here: http://www.mymaxcard.co.uk/
This petition is to encourage Norfolk County Council to come in line with other Local Authorities, including neighboring ones, to provide our children with access to these services and attractions. The Equality Act 2010 supports this request, in that 'public bodies like government departments and local authorities' should not be seen to discriminate based on someone's age or disability, and it is therefore a shame that Norfolk County Council supports its businesses to use the Max Card Scheme but does not allow its residents to have the card itself. This seems counterproductive, and unfortunately encourages a feeling of disinterest in our young people.
A number of both individuals and groups within Norfolk have continually spoken about the wish for the Max Card Scheme to be available to Norfolk residents, and how much they feel this would improve the lives of our children, who already struggle so much.
We would be grateful therefore, if Norfolk County Council would consider this petition and the request for the scheme to be implemented fully across Norfolk and available to residents within the county.
