Getting an additional stop sign at the intersection of Kent Place Blvd, Deforest Avenue, and and Norwood Avenue in Summit NJ is crucial. This intersection gets heavy traffic, mostly from teenagers driving to and from Kent Place school. This intersection is dangerous and this situation needs to be fixed in order to keep community members and teenagers safe. Cars coming from Kent Place Blvd towards Deforest Avenue often get backed up from the traffic sign all the way back to the intersection of the 4 streets. If you're trying to go to Norwood Avenue coming from Kent Place Blvd via Springfield Avenue, you cannot see the cars coming from Deforest Avenue towards Kent Place. It is a nerve racking situation every time we try to pass through the intersection, but having a stop sign at the end of Kent Place Blvd and Deforest Avenue (blue circles indicated above) would alleviate safety concerns and prevent accidents.
