Coronation Street being one of the biggest and most successful TV shows in England (and broadcast in certain International countries too), many of the cast have won or been nominated for BAFTA and TV awards, especially since 2021 with the Hate Crime story. Nina Lucas’s actress Mollie Gallagher recently was nominated for a BAFTA award. However since last year, the actress Millie Gibson who portrays the troubled and now parent-less teenage girl “Kelly Neelan” has had some very brutal storylines, ranging from false imprisonment, suicide, drug abuse and now losing her mother, has never been nominated for an award, nor even been an option to vote for her.

I myself run an Instagram page for her, and part of me also believes she should be nominated for an award, not just because of her shining talent and encouragement that she has given to many struggling young people like myself through her storylines, but she is a very supportive and kind person outside of her acting. Many viewers have commented she is very underrated. So for all those who know her and enjoy Corrie too, we can all help get her the recognition and awards she deserves.
