Sprinklers can save forests: Forest wildfires can be prevented and stopped with water sprinkler systems that are well-designed, well-constructed and carefully placed in our forests. The water can come from rivers and streams, as well as storage tanks in the mountains that collect snow and rain for later use by sprinkler systems in the summer.

Adapting agricultural sprinkler systems to use in forests would not only save and preserve our forests and wildlife, it would cost far less than fighting forest fires and provide needed consistent employment for the construction, placement and maintenance of the systems. Sprinkler systems should replace prescribed burns.
