Why this petition matters

Started by Moise Sr Lubin

“ And he shall judge among the nations , and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks , nation shall not lift up sword against nation , neither shall they learn war any more .”

Isaiah 2.4.

The Russian military , on the 24 th of February, 2022 , violated international order with its unprecedented attack on Ukraine.

This act of aggression has resulted in the largest refugee crisis since the second world war ; with an estimated two million people being displaced., according to the United Nations High Commission for Refugees .
Despite global protestations and sanctions , the Russian Federation continues its unrelenting act of aggression on the Ukraine.

We urge you to Sign this petition , to share your thoughts on what war means to you; and to call for an end to the devastating , dangerous and cruel war , that has no place in our society.

Bishop Lubin Moise

It is time for interfaith leaders to take a stand against this escalating global crisis.

Bishop Lubin Moise Sr , of Mount Sinai Worship Center, has witnessed first hand the devastating impact of earthquake and hurricanes in his home country of Haiti. He has spent his entire life helping people in need. He knows firsthand , what it means for people to go without food , shelter and above all hope .

War is a man made disaster , where suffering is inflicted not by nature , but by a fellow human being. It has no place in today’s society and world.

This war already affected millions of people all over the world, especially in developing countries like Haiti due to raising fuel cost and ensuing inflation.

Today we are asking you to sign this petition to stop the war and negotiate a peaceful resolution of this conflict.

Once we reach million signatures, it will be send as an open letter to Putin and Parliament of Russian Federation.

Religious leaders have to make a stand and call for an end to the war .

NOTE that donations solicited at this change.org website doesn't go to the Bishop Lubin Moise or Ukranian refugees.
