No to Carpal Tunnel: Provide Proper Workplaces for Artists

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a disease that affects the nerves near the wrist area and is usually defined as numbness and weakness in the hands due to repetition in actions. The people who are usually at risk are the ones who work excessively using their hands. An example of these are artists.

An artist's tools are their hands, so it is a great disadvantage if they would be prevented from doing what they love because of an illness such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

We are petitioning for proper and suitable workplaces for artists, especially for those who are still learning in the field, since a way to avoid CTS is through the relaxed use of one's hands, which can be achieved only if the artist is comfortable in the place they are working in.

Help us in our plea for proper and befitting workplaces wherein artists can fully work to the best of their abilities. Thank you, and God bless!
