If you choose to live in a built up area that is fine, but if you have chosen to live somewhere with some open ness & greenery you shouldn’t then have development forced upon you for what is realistically a profit making exercise for the developer.

We need greenbelt land for leisure and for wildlife. The UK is renowned for the green and beautiful land we have and this attracts visitors from overseas. Please don't ruin our country.

I'm signing because I want my children to grow up in an area that has at least some open green space.

We need a complete solution. A complete solution includes investigating the possible use of brown belt land, improving infrastructure, road quality and congestion measures, gp practices, hospitals, public transport and jobs and not just concentrate on the £4m+ of council tax it will generate. This will mean approx 7000 additional cars on our roads, so a proper impact analysis needs to be done...

I am signing because traffic pollution is already horrendous in Radcliffe. The res and canal are currently areas that make Radcliffe beautiful. We need repairs to already shocking roads and to preserve our scenic areas .

There are so many empty and abandoned buildings in Manchester (an across the UK as a whole). Transform and/or rebuild on these sites before go onto the greenbelt. Oldham Council are a disgrace the way they insist on there being no other option despite empty land being everywhere I look and the fact the government said the housing targets (that Oldham insist means we need to build on the greenbelt to meet) are flexible. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO BUILD ON OUR GREENBELT
