NO to 750 Unit Housing Development and Rezoning of Fox Hills Plaza! Retail Only!

SIGN THIS PETITION TODAY TO SAY NO TO THE PROPOSED HOUSING DEVELOPMENT IN THE FOX HILLS PLAZA!!

And NO to changing the zoning from commercial to mixed use! Retail only!

The Fox Hills Plaza at Green Valley Circle and Bristol Parkway (CVS and Marshall's) is in escrow. The city is planning to change the zoning from commercial to mixed use. They are also proposing a 750 unit rental housing development with only one parking spot per unit.

This housing development will cause much more congestion to our community as well as contribute to less parking then there already is. City Council and the development company should look for solutions by engaging the community. Other options could include more benefits for Fox Hills residence such as more retail, a pharmacy or a grocery store.

This issue is more than just housing. It's about equitable distribution of services and resources throughout Culver City. There are between 5,000 - 6,000 who live in Fox Hills. We also generate a lot of tax revenue for the city with the three hotels and the mall. Yet we are often the unwanted target of projects that other parts of the city don't want because of lack of representation. Our voices must be heard.
