Starting school before Labor Day deprives may of their much needed summer break and vacation.  Many students who atten summer school ate not even done until August. By depriving families of this break, you risk increasing negative mental health issues, like stress, and the risk of early signs of burn out in staff and students. By signing this petition,  we ate agreeing we will not send out child to school prior to Labor Day and do not agree to the district starting school prior to Labor Day.
