This is a petition to change the Jackson parish school board uniform policy. The uniform policy is based on unreliable research from over 20 years ago. We need to take a stand on what is more important, the quality of our children education? Or worrying about what they wear? Enough is enough. We need to have our voices heard. The new policy on purchasing school shirts from the new vendors not only takes business outside the state but more importantly it takes it out of our towns and community’s where it matters most.
