The Pitt county schools dress code violates every student’s freedom of speech and forces students to pay for school clothing when some may not be able to afford it.

by signing this petition it would let us write a new revised dress code that allows freedom of speech.

New student dress code.

shirts and tops: you can wear about anything, EXCEPT for clothing that is see through or revealing, Cut or torn, cropped, or clothing with an appropriate content (ex: vulgar language< glorification/advertisement of drugs, ect.)

bottoms: you can wear capris, leggings, sweatpants, jeans, and ripped jeans(without rips higher them you knees)

skirts and shorts:shorts and skirts (this also increased dresses) can’t be shorter then finger tip length 

hats: u will be allowed to wear hats, but u can’t wear them inside 

sweatshirts/hoodies and jackets: you can wear them but if they have a hood, but it may not be covering your head while you are inside.
