We are petitioning for broker rates to be regulated, clear and transparent across the trucking industry. We want the exact freight amount on the bill of lading or dispatch sheets and that brokers are only allowed a maximum of 15%. We truckers, owner-operators/small businesses have seen and have experienced that brokers are receiving commissions of up to 65% on loads which is not fair when they don’t do half of the work we truckers do.

Over the past couple of years, the brokers fees have increased. Leaving the truckers with less profits or just with profits of the bare minimum. With the massive rise of fuel, insurance, road taxes, and load boards leaves us with nothing for the truckers to actually gain a profit and survive with the day to day struggles of being a trucker. Truckers are living to work paycheck to paycheck. 

Let’s start enforcing and preventing brokers from not being transparent. Brokers have been deliberately skirting federal transparency regulations for decades. 

No more cheap freight!!! No more freight gouging!! Stop brokers in their tracks!!! Stop brokers keeping half of our hard earn money!!
