Respected Sir,

We, the students of your esteemed institution, are signing this in context to the issue of the sudden declaration of continuous fee hike against the hostel charges of the session 2017-18 and 2018 - 2019.  It came to our notice that the SEAS Batch 2020 has been waived from the extra charges in line with your commitment towards them.

Sir, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that all other students were also committed a constant fee structure throughout unless some extremely justifiable situation crops up. The raise would be unfair to us on your part, also further adding a financial burden on us.

We have a few points that we need to convey:

• The sports complex and other upcoming infrastructure were promised to us during the time of admission. So, charging its maintenance cost from the old batch is not reasonable.
• We trusted your reputed and respected group and joined at a time when the infrastructure was still in its infancy and was also promised a constant fee structure unless some extremely justifiable situation comes up.
• The previous batch has been waived off of the extra charges due to the same commitment that we were also given.
• The boys were shown the present girls' hostel rooms but provided with something different. We cordially compromised on that without question.
• We patiently waited for the development and still doing so, unaware of the fact that the new development would be piled on our pockets.

We sincerely request Bennett University administration not to hike the fees and increase the financial burden on our parents.
