The “No-Harm Policy” is a policy in which Regents Exams do not count into your final averages if they hurt your average, and can only help. Several schools around Long Island have adopted this policy, except for Oceanside. The Regents exam still count for 11% of your final average. After the year of stress we have experienced at Oceanside, we believe that following Long Island in adopting this no-harm is not only helpful for students GPA through previous years of online learning, but imperative for students mental welfare.
