The CROA board and the croquet association of celebration seem to think that the majority of the residents in Celebration would like a lawn sports/croquet field built on the green open field space behind Heritage Hall. 

This petition is designed to have Celebration residents sign and show that the majority of the people would not like such an amenity built and that they definitely do not want it built on that open field space behind Heritage Hall. 

Some concerning things I noticed at the last CROA meeting. First, it seems Celia McFadden already has her mind made up in favor of this. She was shaking her head NO at all of my points against the lawn sports field when I was speaking during the meeting. Second, Jim Hayes needs to recuse himself for a clear conflict of interest. A CROA board member's immediate family should not be giving speeches giving a stance one way or another, they must show that they are remaining neutral in making decisions that govern based on the majority of residents living in the community.

The croquet association came out strong at the last meeting and I understand that is difficult for a lot of you to attend the meetings because of more important life matters. It is my hope that this petition can get the attention of the board and show them that the majority of the residents do not want a lawn sports field.
