This petition is to try and stop the Scottish government (under the snp) from wasting £20 million of public funds of an independence referendum, a referendum that it has not been granted permission to hold (section 30 order),a referendum that the Scottish people clearly have no appetite for. And this money at this time of need with everything going up could be put to better use especially when the Scottish government are making cuts elsewhere
