Adventists Australia started this petition to NNSW Conference of SDA's

Seventh-day Adventist Female Pastor, Susan Fodor-Magaitis writes sexually explicit material and contributes to other suspect material on her website here: Susan Fodor

Many attempts by a concerned group for an explanation were made over an extended period to both Susan Fodor Magaitis, her pastor husband Steve and to the North New South Wales Conference by Adventist Australia but to no avail. Susan Fodor Magaitis is a Seventh-day Adventist pastor for the North New South Wales Conference. She and her husband, Steve, are co-pastors at the Avondale Memorial Church located next door to Avondale College in Australia.

Susan is an author of novels and short stories that are categorized as “fictional, young adult or teen, paranormal, Sci-Fi and Fantasy.” Even though her books are written for “young adults or teens,” Susan Fodor Magaitis is pushing a type of literature on Amazon that does not align with the standards set by the Handbook for Australian Pastors when it says:

"I am totally committed to the fundamental beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. I am dedicated to the maintenance of high standards of professional conduct and competence in my ministry. I purpose to build relationships based on the principles expressed in the life and teachings of Christ" - Handbook pg 12.

Susan is clearly in violation of these standards and promotes an appearance of evil in her novels and stories that may cause others to stumble if coming in contact with the material. Also Susan is leader of the youth in her church where she serves and our concern is that some may come to know of the sexually explicit and unsavoury material to their personal detriment.

We call on the NNSW Conference and the Australian Union Conference to address this dangerous issue and discipline Susan Fodor for her breach of the code of ethics for Australian Adventist pastors.
