Atlantic City hasn’t had much success with professional sports teams in the past. That changed last year when the Arena Football League brought a franchise (The Atlantic City BlackJacks) to historic Boardwalk Hall. The crowds were big and passionate. It was a true home field advantage. It was more than just a game. They brought the community together. You would see nothing but red 21 jerseys on the Boardwalk on game days. They were heavily involved in the community off of the field as well. It brought positivity to Atlantic City and the South Jersey region.

With the Arena Football League likely folding for the 2020 season, we feel that the city, arena, and local supporters should do all they can to bring Arena Football back to the Boardwalk, where it belongs! Let’s not keep the narrative alive that Atlantic City can not support a sports franchise simply because a league folded. Please give us another chance.
