Stop the Closure of LRC-South

Send a message to Trenton that South Jersey families and schools matter!
On March 23, 2017, the LRC-S (Learning Resource Center -- South) notified its patrons that effective noon on March 31, 2017, the LRC-S would be closed. LRC-S is located on the campus of Camden County College in Blackwood, NJ. LRC-S, a PreK through 21 educational resource library, is an invaluable resource for parents and educators in the seven South Jersey counties that it serves. Its closing will leave South Jersey without the same educational resources and supports that Central and North Jersey counties will continue to enjoy.
The four Learning Resource Centers in the state provide materials and resources to "support the inclusive education of students with disabilities, helping them to succeed and to achieve in the least restrictive environment." New Jersey, with one of the worst records in the country for educating students with special needs in general education classes, cannot afford to shut one LRC--let alone the only LRC in South Jersey.
Please sign this petition to stop the closure of the LRC-S immediately.
