Adopt "Fair Pay Step System" and "Fair Share Health Care" benefits for all NISD employees

All NISD School employees merit an equal pay system that rewards years of service, education and training. Additionally, school employees who earn less than $50,000 a year need improvements made to their health care benefits.
For those reasons, I urge the NISD board members and Dr. Brian T. Woods to adopt the following:
"Fair Pay For All"
Adopt a “Step Pay” plan so all employees receive yearly pay raises, just like teachers,
Adopt a “Cost of Living” pay raise
Reinstate the “Progression” and “Supplemental Pay” procedures,
Reinstate the special needs pay grades for transportation employees
Implement night shift differential pay (Custodians, Maintenance)
"Fair Share Health Care"
Offer a free medial discount cards to cover medical, dental, vision and prescription expenses to all NISD employees,
Approve a $750 Flexible Spending Account “FSA” to offset medical bills,
Lower the premiums, deductibles for individual and family health plans,
Establish clinics with low cost doctor visits within the NISD boundaries,
Conduct orientations about our health care tax credits and options under the Affordable Health Care Act before Sept 15, 2014.
