As the world goes through a devastating pandemic, crippling economies and societies across the globe, it is common knowledge that the economic condition of people have gotten worse by the day!

In these times, while the paying capacities of people have decreased drastically, there are no major change in expenditure. If anything, they have increased further! Businesses are suffering and so are salaried employees.

All the Institutes of Nirma University are asking for the tuition fee that is same as before Coronavirus, even though their expenditure in terms of infrastructure, student activity and support staff is going to reduce as physical colleges are no longer functional and all classes are going to be online.

Therefore I request the management of Nirma University to lower the fees as expenditure has reduced because the classes are being conducted online.

In these troubling times, as people struggle economically to make ends meet, a fee reduction would help everyone and especially those students who are not from a financially prosperous background.
