I don't think it's fair that I have to share my island with my whole family, mainly because my husband keeps trampling up my flowers and using space/resources I needed without my permission. 

One island per console is such an old school mindset that needed to stay in the early 2000s. It totally takes away from me wanting to have my beautiful park-like island when my husband can have his island look like a nuclear wasteland devoid of  all life and joy and color.

So I'm petitioning Nintendo to add separate islands for new users on the Switch. Because like me, not everyone wants to share a single island due to having a Switch-mate with vastly different decor choices or living with a bunch of small kids that just want to torment your poor villagers. Think about Goldie, she doesn't deserve to be bonked repeatedly with a net.

Perhaps have a family archipelago, or have a system like Let's Go where the Player 2 gets to stand there and look pretty and not touch anything.  Or even have it be in systems where Shared Island can be turned on or off if I really want my husband to just spend it time offering goods to our Lord and Savior Blathers. 

Look, I'd even pay for DLC that adds "every profile gets their own island" so please Nintendo, listen to our cries for help!
