Splatoon 2 has a very low Tick Rate of 16hz which makes the game basically unplayable for me.

To put this into context Splatoon 1 has 25hz (Higher is better), Rocket League has a Tick Rate of 60hz.

This low tick rate makes the game works differently then how it is supposed to work. basically I can hit someone 5 times with my Splattershot pro then the enemy I was hitting comes out of their ink and bust my head off in 2 hits with an N-Zap. The Splatpro kills in 3 hits while the NZap does it in 5. Or a Splashdown from the other side of the map can kill me (well it was not me it was someone on the enemy team but still).

This makes me very fustrated playing this game because I am limited not on my skill but because of the tick rate of this game.

Some people say the tick rate is lower to support slower connections but Splatoon 2 still dont even work on fast connections anyway and Rocket League and Overwatch both have tick rates of 60 or higher and they work WAAAYYY better on slower connections on my Switch than Splatoon 2 will ever do.

Nintendo can easily fix this because Splatoon 1 at launch had a low tick rate but they updated it to 25hz which Is for me works good enough. This is dissapointing because the Switch is more powerful than the Wii U so it will be more than able to support this and also we are now paying for online so it should be better anyway.

I dont think Nintendo will actually listen to this and do anything but it is worth a shot because when it comes to the internet the impossible is possible. Also Nintendo Fix the controller lag
