Dante Terrio started this petition to Nintendo

In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, you can reach different support levels between units in the game, up to S-Rank, which is marriage. While most S-Ranks are heterosexual, there are a few same sex S-Ranks as well.

However, when you play as a man, out of the three available same sex options, two of them (Gilbert and Alois) force you into marrying a random village woman in the epilogue instead of what the game leads you to believe would be one of the two men.

Forcing gay men into heterosexual marriages is homophobic.

This petition's goal is to have Nintendo recognize, acknowledge, and fix the problem through a patch that adds new same sex S-Ranks for the male protagonist that are explicitly romantic.

Since Three Houses just came out, patches and updates are going to be fairly regular for a while. While adding supports may seem like a daunting task, Nintendo is a large company and they owe it to their fans, especially their gay or bisexual male fans, to address the problem that they created.
