Petition Closed

Bengaluru was once known as the 'Garden city of India', though the text books still tell the same, in recent times the city has lost its charm and sheen. Apart from rapid development, there are many other civic issues that are bothering the Clean city tag of Bengaluru. Littering being one of the major culprits spoils the clean road and causes immense pollution(read plastic covers).
People are also fond of peeing on the roads, and Spitting thereby polluting the roads. The issue needs to be dealt seriously before Bengaluru gains the 'Garbage city' tag.
Let us all create awareness among people around us to maintain cleanliness and hygiene on our roads to keep them clean.
Let us all Bengalureans unite and take an oath to keep Namma Bengaluru clean and make it a better place to live.
The Oath-
Today, I, A Bengalurean by heart and soul, shall take an oath to keep the roads clean and maintain the greenery.
I will not spit on the roads,
I will not pee on the roads and I will not litter on the roads.
I shall also create awareness among people to keep the roads clean and green.
