Garage for the Shircliff home

Hello. Let me introduce ourselves. I am Nikki Cory along with my husband, Nathan Cory and we are the proud owners of the Shircliff home located at 1306 Old Orchard Drive.  We purchased the home October of 2017.  While touring the home for sale we fell in love with the quaint charm of the home and the historical value it held on the neighborhood we have longed desired to be in. We have 4 children, ages 15 to 8. Since moving here, they have enjoyed riding their bikes or walking to friends homes that live near by.

We have made many improvements to the home since purchasing. New flooring, updating bathrooms, electrical as well as many others.

The home did not include a garage when we purchased it. Rather an old wooden carport that had seen better days. We decided to add a 3 car garage. We did decide to go with a pole style building to cut back on expenses since we have been doing so many other improvements to the home.

We made the mistake of not making sure a building permit was in place at the time when construction began. A lesson learned very hardly. After seeking proper permits, once again we have seen set backs for not properly informing our neighbors of time and date of the board of zoning meeting. That one was my fault,  I've never done anything like this before and I have apologized for not including that information. I was not made aware that I needed to do so.

Our permit was pulled so we are back at square one again.

Our main reasoning for this petition is to keep our garage.

If the structer does not affect you or bother you in any way please sign this petition. Please include your address as well.

The picture included is a example of wat the finished product will look like. It will be a 3 bay garage when finished.

We thank you and hope you have a blessed day.
