The Chinese government is massacring ethnic Uighurs in numbers surpassing the holocaust. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that the American government will intervene to change anything due to the economic power China holds. In response, this must be a consumer based protest. We collectively have to demand that major American businesses quit pandering to the Chinese Communist party by reinvesting and doing marketing in other countries. China has escaped the scrutiny of major human rights violations for the sake of business and our government does nothing. There is no charity, U.N council, rebel group, nothing. All we can do is change how WE respond to acts of injustice. We can't just "raise awareness", we must avoid buying from companies that refuse to move out of China where we can. We will not be the generation that ignored the second holocaust.
