Expensive shoes aren’t worth the cost because they are surprisingly dangerous, they are majorly overpriced, and they aren’t worth it. Let’s say that you go on your computer and order a pair of 250$ shoes. Then, they show up and you try to put them on, and they don’t fit, and the quality was outstandingly underprivileged. Then, a little note that was tapped to the box and said, “No returns.” So, it leaves you with shoes that don’t fit and 250$ that were wasted.

One reason why expensive shoes aren't worth the cost is because they are surprisingly dangerous. When looking back on February 20th, 2019, Nike had an embarrassing moment in basketball history. When the Duke Blue Devils were against North Carolina, Duke Williamson, from the Duke Blue Devils, sprained his knee after his shoe fell apart. Williamson didn’t blame Nike for the incident because he didn’t listen to the people who worked for Nike. Still, it was an embarrassing moment for Nike. According to experts, “Nike (NKE) stock was more than 1% down on Thursday.” Most customers think new shoes are “newer” and more safe. They are surprisingly not. When looking at what happened to Williamson on that tragic day may have you rethink expensive shoes. This specifically shows that any pair of shoes can fall apart at any time.

Another reason why expensive shoes aren’t worth the cost is because they are majorly over priced. Payless decided to open a store in Santa Monica Place called Palessi. They bought all of this expensive things like lions, glass shelves, mannequins, and “slapped” neat looking tags on their shoes. Instead of pricing the shoes at 30$ or less, they priced them to be higher than 100$. Most customers agree that expensive shoes are comfortable, they have great durability, and they are stylish. They should soon realise that most shoe stores are pricing their shoes at higher prices than they were actually made.

The last reason why expensive shoes aren’t worth the cost is because they can occasionally break down. Ecco Shoes Warning: Almost New Expensive Shoes Disintegrate takes place at a formal party. The lady at the formal party said that she was wearing a pair of Ecco shoes, (that were in between $159 to $187) that broke down when the lady recalled “stepping” on something. Many customers would say that it was a naturally accident with expensive  and that any shoe can fall apart. That means any shoe, including expensive shoes.

This is why expensive shoes aren’t worth the cost because, they are surprisingly dangerous, they are majorly overpriced, and they aren’t worth it. Imagen how you would feel if any of these things happened to you. Now, think about how all of the people feel, there expensive shoes fell apart during an activity.
